Blaze King Catalyst Guide

Prior to ordering a new catalyst for your Blaze King woodstove, remove the old catalyst and verify the dimensions to ensure that you are ordering the correct size. The dimensions of Condar catalysts may differ slightly from the existing catalyst in your stove. Unless these dimensions differ significantly, stove performance will not be impacted.

Blaze King stoves and inserts are designed to accommodate a catalytic thermometer. This thermometer's purpose is to show you if the catalytic combustor is active. Always burn the stove in the "Active" or "Operate Catalyst" zone. When the catalyst is not active the stove emits smoke and will not be efficient. Contact the Condar Company for the recommended thermometer for your Blaze King unit if you do not know your stove's requirements.

What Our Customers Are Saying:

"I live in the mountains of Southwestern Montana in a house that's around 3000 square feet, mostly open design. With a new STEELCAT catalyst installed in my Blaze King KEJ-1102, I'm keeping the main living area of the house at 75 degrees with the stove at its lowest setting. And now I'm getting more than 24 hours of burn-time with a normal load of wood. This stove has NEVER worked so well! I showed my neighbor, who also owns a Blaze King, and he immediately ordered a STEELCATfor his stove. The amount of wood and labor I'll save will pay for the new catalyst very quickly. Thank you very much for the great product and service." -Ron Rowe; Whitehall, Montana

"Got the new Blaze King catalyst you sent and it fits perfectly. I just fired up the stove and wow what a difference! It's burning absolutely clean after just 15 minutes, and even set on the lowest air settings is burning hot. Your product is just absolutely awesome!" -Brian Dickey; Hyde Park, Utah
